  Vacated positions prior to candidate nomination.
• Founder and former managing director of MethCon Group Ltd
• Winner of a Sir Peter Blake Emerging Leader award and New Zealand Toastmasters Community Leadership award
• Previous employment with New Zealand Police, Royal New Zealand Navy and within the dairy sector
• National and international media experience as commentator and public speaker
• Father of three involved in local community having previous roles in school board of trustees, sports coaching, community activities and voluntary organisations.

• Partner of Sandra Mickell, with a blended family of 6 children.
